Reducing environmental impact of distribution

RFS Workplace Solutions as a company is committed to sound environmental transportation of goods. It is our belief that we have a responsibility to protect the environment and this for us represents sound economic sense. We operate a diesel fleet of vehicles and encourage our employees to you use public transport / national rail within the London postcodes. For projects outside of London we transport our installation teams using a minibus.

Our senior leadership team is currently reviewing our transport policy; and is looking at implementing a series of changes in line with Environmental Management Systems in accordance with ISO 14001.

Our packing waste disposal procedure is to collect all packing and back haul to a local authority disposal site. We also consider waste as a resource, we encourage our manufacturing partners to look at ways to minimize the amount of packing they use. In certain cases will remove packing at the first point of handing when goods are received at our warehouse facility.
